Retrospective
What went well?
• Learning more deeply about the approach between the iOS and Android platforms helped realized the differentiation in terms fo the structure and flow, like navigation patterns, custom views, button styles, button sheets, grids and typography.
• Developing the project proposal from early stages and deciding which key features this app should offer, helped me elaborate a simple user flow to achieve those tasks.
What didn’t go well?
• Even though the initial goal was to have easy access in the user flows, I had some troubles in the initial flow concepts going from one screen to another.
• The visual approach for This is a joke! app is happy, uplifting and fun, and the colors intend to reflect this in all the screens. In some cases, the color choices did not work out, failing to achieve a complete accessibility.
What can be improved?
• I would definitely spend more time perfecting the user flows and visualizing better from the beginning the connections between the screens.
• Paying more attention to sketching the wireframes and visualizing at this stage the main differences between the platforms.
